Drones may not be flown within 50 meters (164 feet) of people or private property (without permission from the property owner).

Fines of up to R50 000 per incident and up to 10 years imprisonment or both can be issued should you be guilty.

We want to make the community aware that this is a serious offence and the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), takes this matter very seriously.
